No Other One Like HER

October 1, 2008- It's my mama's 57th bday!!!!

How I miss my mama so much, as we are oceans apart. Mama is getting older, but I know heart stays young. She has a heart that is abundant of love to the Lord as well as to  her family. Ma never stopped and seem not tired of showing deep concern to her children and grand-children. A heart full of love, a heart full of care, a heart that is too soft and a heart that always understand.

I may not be able to give her the abundance of material gifts, but what I can offer is far more beyond the riches in  this world to offer.

I give you Mama my undying admiration, my thankful heart and my unfading love. I will take care of you till you grow old and all your hair becomes white. I will feed you when your hands can no longer hold the food. I will warm your bed when at times that you will feel so cold. I will undesrtand you when the day comes that you will lose your good memory. Mama , I will never ever forget how you cared for me. You have been my bestfriend, my ultimate listener when those times I was so down in my life. You never stopped giving me encouraging words that warmed my heart. In return, I will understand whatever decision you will make as long as you will not be harmed and it will make you happy. There's nothing in this world I want for you, but True Happiness that you deserve.

In the times of my life, whether we
are near or far, please remember, Mama,
that there could never be any mother
more wonderful... than the one you are.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA MELLIE

Zapped.....

Voodo, dum, dam, vodukurum.....
"Our fate is sealed
We are one
So mote it be
It is done!"

Hey anyone of you believe in love spells? Anyone of you really thinks that magic and love potions of some sort work? Anyway, while waiting for Our web-based system to fix, my mind again wanders and this time to the world of "mind Power" hammy, you'd guess why..LOL!!

well, I'm really fascinated with anything that involves extra-sensory forces, mental telephatic exchange and anything-like under the moon. (wink^^) This brain of mind has the tendency to get overload with things like that. Hm mm, maybe when you feel so totally helpless when it comes to certain situations and your hopes and heart-desires are being muddled up, you might be like one. You would be frantically thinking of anything to bring your broken desires back.. Huhuhu, as if it would really work. ..

Whether through coincidence or really just pure luck, I really can't tell if magic /love spells work. What I can attest is that each of us has some spiritual powers that can imbibe energies and may send telepathic messages. Well, it has been studied and proven by Psychology that we can control our mind. After all , we are human, we are different from all the creations. We have the Body, Soul and Spirit. I believe that everything in this universe is connected. It is just that we are not trained to decipher the interlinking and decipher the processes. We all have evidenced strange, if not miraculous things, happen to others. They can happen to you even.

However, in another stand also, I believe that when it comes to the joining of two souls into one, there is also this ONE Supreme who arranges everything. When a person is really for you, it would really be For YOU. No need to cast spells to have them or bring them back, right? Spells may work in bringing a person to you but it is always a thought That it is not your ultimate want, which is True Love.

Oh, system is fixed now. Gee, I have to finish updating files got to go!!!! But before I'll go , I have here one Practice on How to Send Message to Your Distant Lover.. ^^^ wink, wink, wink

Send A Message To Your Distant Lover

Needed:

White crystal quartz
Picture of your lover

Take a photo of your lover and set the quartz over the photo. Concentrate your message into the quartz crystal and the picture and feel your energy being sent to your lover - soon they'll get the message.

What's behind the name....

Expectant parents, even when baby is still on mum's tummy, are so excited to their fruit of love that would be a member of the family. Little baby has not yet seen the light of life, but he/she has a name already! =) How sweet. ^^

Names. Everyone has one, most people have a vague idea what their own means, but few give them much more thought. Some are named from the combination of the names of their parents. Others are named after their father, their great Grand-parents, or to some known men of times. And some are named from the biblical names that are mentioned from the Old and the New Testament. Therefore, our names must have a meaning. Whatever it is and wherever it is from, I think we should know.
When people refer to the "meaning of a name", they are most likely referring to the etymology, which is the original literal meaning.

Well, I'm one of the few who give thought to the meaning of my name and here it is:

Shelomi
Shelomi meaning: My peace, my happiness, my recompense.
Shelomi origin: Biblical
Shelomi gender: Female

OH, I love the meaning of my name. I am the peace of my ma and pa, their happiness, their recompense.. Truly a JOy from the LOrd..

Here are the meanings of the names of my Children and see how I named them:
1. Aljodon David- Aljodon- its meaning is "old one, elder"
David Possibly derived from Hebrew דוד (dvd) meaning "beloved".
The Whole Name: The Elder Beloved.. The eldest beloved One
2. Al'jered Nicolas-
Al'jered- From the Hebrew name יָרֶד (Yared) or יֶרֶד (Yered) meaning "descent".
                                 Nicolas- meaning is "victorious people".

The whole name: Descendant of the victorious People..
3. Alikah Arienh-
Alikah -meaning is "noble, exalted nature".

Arienh- Means "most holy"

The whole Name:  Noble, Exalted Nature and descendant of the Most Holy One

How about You? What's behind your name, and your children's name?

Wistful thinking

Some thoughts that played on my contemplative mind today:
A Million Words Would Not Bring You Back,
I Know Because I've Tried.
Neither Would A Million Tears,
I Know Because I've Cried.

Why Dont You Love me Anymore

It is about when you lose someone that you love and you make them try to realize it.
I fall for you forever.
It makes me think of you in such a way that I can't explain.
I will die for you to love you.
I don't trust you to love me.
You’re taking over me and you've never helped in trying to take away my sorrow.
You saw me and the way that I love you.
I love you and I saw the way that you loved me but it is forever gone.
I am here for you but, you don't seem to be here for me.
I've cried for you in the early morning as I deceive from no love.
I've died for you again thinking that you'll love me the way that you used to.
I can't trust myself any longer.
I will fall until I am loved again.
I'm falling faster and longer until I'm finally loved.
I've tried to kill the pain in so many ways.
You've never thought of trying to remember me.
I try not to think of it but, you’re my life, dreams, and the one who gave me hope.
I just missed the touch of your hands and having you in my life.
Every time I look in the mirror I see the incomplete me.
I have to be with you so I can live.
But how can it be.. Oh why, oh why...
Why don't you love me any more?

Unexplained Happiness

Truly it is a joy-unspeakable and full of glory to see the once little sweet one lying on your breast to be a grown up pretty young girl, bubbly, and so full of energy.

My Princess, my Alikah Arienh, my "bebay" is now 3 year and 4 mos old. It is amazing how time flies and my little baby is now a little girl. Everytime her daddy would wake up in the morning he would measure her thru the length of his palm to see how tall she is getting. My heart felt a sudden warmth to know that she is almost 7 spread-palm tall when she was only 3 open-palm long before a few months past. She is really growing past and surely we would miss her young kakulitan years.

Alikah knows now how to read the Alphabet, read the numbers and count, she knows a lot of children's song and moreover she knows how to pray. Last night, I was so touched when she uttered a prayer and in whispered voice to the Lord, " Lord Jesus, take care of mama and pagalingin mo si daddy and love mo sila kuya. Lord please give me a pink gameboy din.amen". hehe.. As tender and pure as she is she knows that praying is talking to the Lord.

Though I may have ups and downs in my life, what takes away all the sorrows and pains is the joy of seeing my Children properly growing up in the Lord's grace. Parents, we should abide in the Lord, take the Lord as our life and our parenting will be the best background for them to grow up well and surely they will give us UNEXPLAINABLE HAPPINESS..

at 2 mos old...

Never Ever shake a Baby!!!!

Children are supposed to be our bundle of joy, they are gift from Above. Little heaven who are the source of our un explained happiness. But why some other people can in their heartless actions damage and even took the life of these sweet little ones. Here's a sad story of Little London Marie Sherwood, a victim of SHAKEN BABY SYNDROME.. Life that she was supposed to enjoy was cut short because of a heartless and thoughtless immature action.

December 4th, 2007, Jessica Sherwood had to do something no mother should ever have to do.

At 2:29 pm Jessica made a very tough, but the right decision to take her little 3 month old daughter off life support
In memory of little London Marie, i thought id start a little forward..
Jessica had a message that i want every one to know..

This is what Jessica said:

"If anyone has kids, make sure that you keep them with you the whole time. Don't give then to anyone that you don't trust. Trust me, I thought that I trusted Josh. But now as of December 4, 2007 at 2:29 AM, she is gone. My one & only baby . & He is going to pay FOREVER, even if he gets out of jail scott free, he will be dead no matter what. & To all my friends that know London , I am very angry & upset that I lost the love of my life, my babygirl. She died on her three month birthday .
London had six fractured ribs, both of her legs were fracture, & her brain was so damaged that if she were to live she would be a vegetable
So I did what was right & what was best for her & took her off life support

That's what you call Shaken Baby Sydrome [SBS]"

For those of you who dont know what Shaken Baby Syndrome check out the facts ;

-Shaking, jerking and jolting can cause blood vessels in the head to tear or burst.

Shaken Baby Syndrome is the shaking of an infant or child by the arms, legs, or shoulders with or without impact of the head.
This trauma can result in bleeding and brain injury with no outward signs of abuse

Often frustrated caregivers feel that shaking a baby or small child is a harmless way to make the child stop crying. However, a baby's brain and blood vessels are vulnerable to whiplash motions, such as shaking, jerking, jolting, and impact.

The neck muscles of an infant or small child are weak, so the child's head is relatively heavy and the neck cannot support the stress of shaking or impact
-Shaking a very young child, with or without impact of the head, can cause irreversible brain damage, blindness, cerebral palsy, hearing loss, spinal cord injury, seizures, learning disabilities, and even death.
It is tragic that healthy, intelligent babies are suffering these disabilities simply because their caregivers don't know about the dangers associated with Shaken Baby Syndrome
An estimated 1,200 to 1,400 cases of Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) occur each year in the United States .Only 1 out of 4 babies dies of Shaken Baby Syndrome

HOWEVER, the other three babies will need ongoing medical attention for the rest of their short lifespans

If you are a mother, a father, a sister, a brother of a sweet fragile One, please take this message from my post. Children are God-given gift for us to nurture, cherish and care for them to grow and enjoy the Life the Lord has prepared for them. We need to TAKE CARE OF THEM AND NOT TO SHAKE, JOLT, AND JERK THEM OUT OF THEIR EXISTENCE!!!

Blessings On my Day!!!

"da , da, da, hum, hum Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy b-day, happy b-day, happy b-day to me!!!."
I could sing a happy song. My heart is bursting to tell all the things the Lord hath done to me. I want to shout it out. My 30th birthday is here at last. How I want to give my highest praises to my All-inclusive One who has been my all from my first glimpse of life till this day.
"Lord thank you so much for making me a part of the body, for letting me taste the fullness of Your riches, for making me partaker of the divine nature and choosing me as one of the Heirs of your Kingdom. Lord how I love You and want to love you more."

My day is full of fun. Everybody seems to remember. My mobile was ringing and beeping from early morning till the afternoon from well-wishers for my b-day.As early as 5am , my phone alarms, I wonder why as I have not set it for that day, OH it was a calendar message from my hubby greeting me and saying " I love You Mie" .Of course mama was the first one to call and greet and my two sons. Then unexpectedly my Auntie Tessie M. has called also to say " Happy bday Nak". It's very touching how people remembers you suddenly on your special day. My Frienster page is also full of birthday comments, wala ako masabi.. huhuhu, salamat Talaga..=)

Eto na, at home Neng (our yaya) only prepared a simple Sotanghon (for long life kuno). I was not thinking of a bonggang Birthday celebration, I never did it anyway. But it's just that the Lord love me so much.. Sponsors were so generous and my bday turns out to be Bongga Day after all. Lunch for everyone in the Office sponsored by Mareng Dhang and Seafood dinner Party from Boss Winnie (my ex-boss), and a b-day cake from Joeven . Blessings are just down pouring like raindrops from Heaven. Again Lord many thanks for all of these people.
BTW, I have clipped here the snapshots from lunchtime till dinner.. I'm Just so Glad...^^

INDEED IT WAS A HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY. ALL GLORY TO HIM!!!

Key To Prayer...

Hi guys, I want to share you something about prayer. I suddenly thought about this because I have a prayer list which I have with me always in my pocket, yet I forget to pray about it many times. ..Lord give more heart to be faithful in prayers.. Make me a person of prayer just like Daniel, just like You.

Sometimes we may pray and pray yet, it seem our prayer never touches the Lord's heart and it is never answered by the Lord. We may say , the Lord will answer in His own way, yes this is partly true, however, we didn't realize why our prayers are never answered by Him.

Prayer is a matter of great importance in the spiritual life of a Christian. Every true Christian realizes this and prays. However, even though some of the Lord's children spend time praying over many matters, they do not seem to get through in prayer. It seems as if they have not found the way to pray. This is because they have not discovered the key.

In whatever we do, we must first have the key, the secret. Once a person gets the key, he can do things twice as fast as others do, while those who do not have the key labor in vain.

The same principle applies to prayer. Matthew 7 speaks of principles relating to prayer, one of which is, "He who seeks finds" (v. 8). Seeking requires effort. Anyone who looks in a half-hearted, leisurely manner will probably not find anything. Seeking involves patience and perseverance, and unless we are thorough, we will not find what we seek. If God does not answer our prayers, we must exercise patience and diligently seek the key to prayer.

Many earnest Christians pray at great length; they pray wordy prayers, but they do not receive answers from God.
In prayer, words are essential, but our words must be to the point; they should be words that touch the heart of God and move Him so that He has no alternative but to grant our requests. Words that are to the point are the key to prayer. These kinds of words match God's will, and He cannot but respond to them.
Let us find the key to prayer from a few scriptural illustrations.
1. ABRAHAM'S PRAYER FOR SODOM
(GENESIS 18:16-33)
-Abraham laid hold of the fact that God is a righteous God (Gen. 18:25); this was the key to his prayer.Abraham's prayer was to the point, and it was answered. There was no unrighteousness with God. He did not "slay the righteous with the wicked" (Gen. 18:25). In our prayers we must honor God's righteouness over things.
2.JOSHUA'S INQUIRY ABOUT THE FAILURE AT AI
(JOSHUA 7)
-he inquired, "What will You do for Your great name?" This was the key to his prayer. He honored the name of God. His concern was for what God would do for the sake of His own name! This should also be our prayer, our concern is for the sake of the Lord's name.
3.THE PRAYERS OF THE LORD JESUS
(JOHN 12:27-28; MATTHEW 26:39-46)
-He prayed, "Father, glorify Your name." This prayer was answered immediately. "Then a voice came out of heaven: I have both glorified it and will glorify it again" (v. 28). If this is the way the Son of God, as the Son of Man, prayed to God on the earth, how dare we on the impulse of the moment open our lips and utter rash prayers!
4.THE PRAYER OF THE CANAANITE WOMAN
(MATTHEW 15:22-28; MARK 7:24-30)
-she came and worshipped Him, saying, "Lord, help me!" (v. 25). She called Him "Lord," not "Son of David." She realized that only the house of Israel had the right to use that title, so she forsook the wrong ground on which she had been standing and addressed her prayer to Him as Lord. This prayer brought His answer. In our prayer also we must subject ourselves to the Lord. He is our Lord and we are just recepients of His mercy.

Bear in mind that as we pray we should heed the inner voice and not be governed by our circumstances, thoughts, or affections. When that still small voice within tells us to pray, when in the depths of our being we have a sense that we should pray, then we should pray at once. Have you experience that sense? It's a small voice that would speak from within.Circumstances should only be a means of driving us into the presence of God to wait on Him; they should not be our master, and we should not be hindered by them from praying. Our mind should only serve to organize our inner feelings, which should be then expressed in words; our mind should not be the source of prayer.Prayer according to the will of God is only possible when we are in harmony with His will; it is not an exercise of forcing God to oblige man's emotions. Unless our emotions are dealt with, it is impossible for us to pray; prayers will not have a way to be released. Once we are under the control of our emotions, we will pray in a natural way according to our subjective desires; it will be hard to pray according to the inner leading.

Therefore, we must touch the key to prayer. Whenever we find ourselves praying ineffectively, fruitlessly, and insufficiently, we must ask the Lord for light and seek to discover the cause. As we inquire of the Lord, we will reach a point at which we feel that we have gotten through, when something within clicks, and a still small voice within says, "That's it!" We have found the key to prayer. As we use the key and pray on, we can be assured that God will answer our prayer.

dear heart..

Tonite: Oh my poor heart..It's being torn again into pieces. I've been trying to put these pieces together, but here it is again, it's breaking in agony..Thud, thud, thud, i can hear it's slow hurting beat ...this is all about because of what I've known from my good friend.. My One Great Love has found someone new out there. The words still vibrated into my head, " he has someone here, and they are sweet".
Oh forget it, that's what i always say to myself, but Forgetting doesn't make it all better, it just makes it hurt again when I remember. Why is it that no matter how much pain it endures by holding on...the heart refuses to let go? This should not be dear heart..

"I shouldn't care or wonder how you are, but I can't hide this hurt inside my broken heart. I'm fighting back emotions that I've never fought before because I'm not supposed to love you anymore."

I miss You Papa

It's Sept. 15, 2 days to go and it's my 30th bday already. Another year to thank The Lord for all the preserving love He has bestowed on me and my family. Another bday without my father. Oh how I miss my papa so much. Life is never the same without him. We moved away from the house where I was born and where I have grown up because he will not be there to be with us. Papa is our God-given protector and loving head. Without him the lonely house in the lonely place became lonelinier.
No one now would call me "tiw" as he is the only one who called me that. How I still remember his last breath on my arms. He passed away in my arms and from that moment on I knew life will never be same again..

To You Papa, if you can see me now, I want you to know that I love You so much and without you, my days are never complete. On my 30th bday, I want you to know that even I dont see you anymore, You're still the best father in the world for me. I will never forget how you supported me at times that I need someone to back me up. You and Mama will always be my greatest parents. I love you and no one will ever replace you. Here's a poem for you pa.. and it comes from my heart..

Time seems to have a way
of passing too quickly,
and as each day comes to an end
I realize it's one more
I haven't spent with you.
It's amost 30 years from the day
You and mama saw me first with my first cry..
Another year to remind me how I am missing You..

I miss you, Papa Bugloy.
I miss you seeing cry when I played the piano
and hearing your voice sing over the videoke with your bestfriend.
I miss that feeling of knowing
that I'm with someone
who thinks I'm special,
and who always gives me
a deep sense of warmth and security.
I miss the times when you
fecthed us in Lawaan crossing
and you're a little bit drunk.
Even though I'm not
a little child anymore,
and it may seem as though
I don't need you like I once did,
a special papa like you
isn't something that a child outgrows.
In fact, the great memories we share
are valued and treasured...
no matter what happens papa
no matter where You are
You'll always be loved, and
No one Could Ever Replace You..

The heart stays young...

It's late now at night and I'm still awake. I'm thinking that my birthday is nearing. It's just 5 days away from my big day. I'm gonna be 30..As many would jokingly label 30th marks "age almost out of the calendar anymore". Yeah age may old grow old, but I say the heart stays young. It will never grow old with time..

By the way, i saw this old pic of mine. A photograph of Me when I was a Child, some near 30 years ago.

Can someone really Tell...

Hey, i got this on my mailbox an hour ago..

"Coming October 17, 2008 the sun will rise continuously for 36 hrs (1.5 days). During this time the US countries will be dark for 1.5 days.
It will convert 3 days into 2 big days. It will happen once in 2400 yrs. We're very lucky to see this."

Ano sa tingin nyo , could this be true? Well, no one can tell. But I happened to read some text in the Old Testament before, but not so sure it was in the time of Moses or Joseph.. But there was a time that God made the land of the Israelites dark for 2-3 days, no light of the sun and was total darkness. If that was the case, thenit could be that on those times, on the other part of the world the sun continued to rise.. Does that make sense?

Growing in the Lord's grace

    Al'Jered Nicolas and Aljodon David

                Alikah Arienh
Children, while they are young must be nurtured and be brought to the grounds of the real church life. Having such a foundation will make them proper Christians, taking the Lord's way.

Consecrate your children to the Lord. Let them be nourished with the milk of the word. Strengthened their foundation with the highest truth. Being like that will bring so much blessing to them and to the family as a whole.

My boys: Aljodon David and Al'jered Nicolas, as well as my girl Alikah Arienh have grown this way.  As young as they are they know how to pray, call on the name of the Lord and memorize some verse from the Bible. Instead of teaching them only children's song, why not teach them sing children's hymns. If they are taught to praise the Lord as early as that, they will grow up loving Him and seeking after Him..Amen

One Great Love

Do you believe that we always have One Great Love?

Well, I do. This person may or may not be your first love, he could or may not be your present lover and partner but he remains there having a special place in your heart.

I know a story of lovers who used to be so close and so in love with each other. They are the best of friends, being there for each other in the ups and downs of life. Girl loves the boy so much and boy feels the same. However, fate is something we'll never know. Something happened that separated their almost 5 years of great togetherness. Disbelief and lack of trust crushed what they have started to build. They parted ways, Girl got pregnant by some guy that never also became her husband.

Years passed, boy has moved on, but the poor girl still dwelt on her love towards him. She still has his photograph hidden under her pillow that she slept on every night. She still held it close to her heart in tears while she whispered prayer and beg the Lord to listen to make him love her again. But the Lord seemed not to listen. She tried to deflect her mind from the thoughts of him by entertaining some other suitors later on. I remembered one time, she was in all-smile, mouth very wide as she announced to herself " FINALLY I'M OVER YOU", as she thought the feeling was gone. She had a new boyfriend and believed that he started to fall for that new guy. But it was all fake! Fake in the sense that all was just a make-believe to herself. Again the same old Feeling of loving "ex" haunted her. The sad truth, "she is still in love with him, never did it fall ".

Girl , at a moment in time knelt in prayer and beg the Lord to take this love out of her. This was hurting her, stabbing her and killing her softly more when she knew that boy had another one to cherish. Oh t'was so painful for her to bear , thinking that she was the one who was with him to cherish, to love and to hold, now it was another. She fervently asked the Lord, and that time the Lord seemed to hear. He gave her a husband. Girl was happy having in mind that she would now be free from all the batter of the winds of emotions. She has started her own family.

All looked okay. Family, work, no thoughts of "ex" anymore. That's what she thought... The sad twist sipped in after two years of being married. The feeling that she thought was gone, suddenly all poured back in. That feeling that she was fighting so hard to move away, is there again. The sad thing is she felt so guilty, not only for her husband, for her family, but moreover to the Lord. She should love her husband with all his heart, shutting the doors for other and leaving no room for the past. But no matter what she does, thoughts of him lingers, dreams with him happened every time she sleeps. Some cold nights , she is waken from appalling loneliness of him that made her cry to utter despair. Girl is fighting back this feeling, she doesn't want to be like this cause she knows whatever happens , it will never be the same again. It was ten long years since they parted ways but it is still HIM that occupies her heart. She knows she is happy with her kids and family, but something is lacking.

She must be this strong to have gone all through this way. Knowing that her real happiness could never be her's again is shattering.. But girl is still going on, moving on. She knows her only means of being with him is through her dreams. She will go on living this way, knowing that she doesn't exist in his world anymore and leaving her to love and watch him from a world apart.. After all He is her ONE GREAT LOVE.

The Best Employee Ever

I can never tell if anyone of you would not agree with me when I say, God has created us for a purpose. I dont believe that we came in this world out of luck cause papa's sperm as it met mama's egg became me genetically. Moreover, I dont believe that Big Bang theory or whatever theory of evolution that we came from a single cell that eventually evolved and has made us having a link from an Ape!!??? I can't accept that. Man is made out of the Lord's image and likeness, and has a Spirit which is an organ to contact him. Truly this is not by chance, we are chosen even before the Foundation of the world.. Cause He has a purpose, for us to be his duplication , his testimony here on earth. We are created to be His vessel to contain His Glory..
Therefore, how we need to take Him as our pattern in our daily living, wherever and whatever we are doing.

How we need to live by this day by day. Most of us are employed, whether in a Big Multinational, small enterprise, government agencies, etc. In our working environment, how we need to remember that we are his duplications. How can we be like one? I have outlined some points to linger and meditate and for us to live by...

HOW TO TAKE THE WAY OF THE LORD IN WORK

(based on the 10 Commandments)

1. Trust in God only.

Trust in no one but GOD. People will disappoint you. God created you
and has
a wonderful plan for your life. He is too good to do wrong, and too
wise to
make a mistake. Let His peace abide in you. (Proverbs 3 :5-6)

2. Worship God only.

Don't make your career, your company, or your boss a god. If you do,
you
will provoke Him to jealously and will end up fighting Him. In fact,
He may
hinder you from achieving what you want until you are broken of the
idolatry. (Exodus 20:5).

3. Use God's Name Reverently.

Don't swear!! Clean words come out of a clean heart! If your co-
workers know
that you are a Christian, but they hear the Lord's Name used in vain,
or
cursing and swearing from your mouth, you will give the appearance of
being
a hypocrite. (Matthew 15:17-19).

4. Work Six Days and Rest on the Seventh.

Before you beg for more vacation time, ask yourself a few questions,
"Do you
honor the Sabbath?" God has already given you 52 days of time off that
equates to seven weeks. "Are your expectations for work, vacation, and
retirement realistic?" By resting one day a week, you can avoid
burnout.
(Genesis 3:17-19).

5. Respect and Obey Your Boss.

You should respect and obey your boss, because you don't know what
it's like
to be in their shoes. Plus, your ultimate boss is the Lord. Serve Him
faithfully on the job, and He will bless you. However, if your boss
commands
you to do something illegal or immoral, you must make a stand and obey
God
rather than man. (Ephesians 6:5-8).

6. Protect and Respect Human Life.

Emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual manipulation, abuses and
violence
have no place in the workplace... or any place. You do not have the
right to
use and abuse your boss, co-workers, employees, customers, or
suppliers. (1
Thessalonians 3:1-2).

7. Be True to Your Spouse.

If you are not getting the kind of attention that you feel you deserve
at
home, it's common to seek it with someone at work. Honor your wedding
vows
by avoiding company romances! They are very tempting, very real, and
very
common. They are also very wrong and very destructive. (Matthew
19:8-9).

8. Do Not Take What Belongs to Others.

Stealing at work can take many forms. You can choose to steal
materials,
money, time, productivity , and joy from your employer and others. Do
not
remove your integrity by stealing. (II Corinthians 7:1-2).

9. Do Not Lie About Others.

Do not fabricate stories about your boss, co-workers, and spread
gossip for
the sake of company politics. You are here to be the salt and the
light, not
the pepper and the darkness!! Truth always rises to the surface, and
eventually you will be ashamed and rebuked if you lie. (II Peter 2:
10-13 ).

10. Be Satisfied With What You Have.

Contentment doesn't mean that you cannot pursue God-given goals, but
it does
mean that you are content with what He has provided you with, day
after day.
Contentment is a rare quality in today's culture, but it is extremely
liberating! Materialism, striving for rank , backstabbing, and
discontent
lead to emotional, mental, financial, and spiritual bondage. (I
Timothy
6:6-11 ).

Rain

Splash, splash, splash….
As I slowly scribble vague letters in an crumpled paper;
The rain is bucketing over the window,
Dancing and tossing it’s raindrops along the panes…

The room gets colder…
Suddenly feeling of loneliness slinks in…
Memories keep on appearing…
Some old faded thoughts are surfacing..

I remember the house over the lonely place where I used to grow up.
Picture of my father lying on his favorite swing sets in…
The memories of my lonely childhood with my only sister is clear..
The moments with my special one is stirred..

Sigh. deep sigh … my eyes are searing with tears..
All this loneliness, now I know is at home in my deepest part
Almost all the finest pieces of my life are gone..
I must be this strong, knowing the best things in my existence had slipped away..

Splash, splash, splash..
The yellow phone rings and it jerks me to reality.
Sigh, our life is never ours to control..
I never believe that we are masters of our own destiny;
Cause for me there is this Living One who predestined all
that’s the reason why we don’t have all we want, even things that we fight for…
