A birthday message for My Son
Oh how the years pass by,
Time can certainly fly.
I remembered the labor pains..
When we were about to hear your first screams..
You were just a little boy once
With heart-warming laughter and smiles..
With a lot of shooting questions to ask...
That truly warms my heart..
You're growing up so fast,
as I wish each moment with you to last forever.
My little boy will someday be a man
and right by your side I will forever stand.
I wish I was there when during the years gone by..
I know I was not there to lend a guiding hand..
I was far and so far most of the time..
I miss you for those years we've never spent..
But no matter what, I want you to know
I will be here for you..
To pick up the pieces when you fall,
I will hold your hand and help you stand tall.
And when the day comes when you are on your own,
never feel that you are alone.
No matter how near or how far apart
You will always be right here in my heart.
Always remember whatever you go through
that no matter what, you will always be loved..
HAPPY 9TH BIRTHDAY TO MY SON AL'JERED NICOLAS!!!

The pain of Losing
I suddenly miss Mawmaw..................
Certainly not my boyfriend, not my baby, not my brother or sister..but my childhood pet, a cat. When I was 10 years old I had a domestic cat named MawMaw. He was gray and not a high-breed one but so cute and furry. He furred and furred and meowed and meowed. Such a sweet and playful kitty was he. We had a twenty or more cats around the house but he was my only favorite.
Every early morning he meowed at our bedroom door and my mom would open him up and he would directly tuck inside my blanket and sleep lazily till I get up. I loved the warmth of his little soft and cuddly body and got used to it. I would personally wake up and look for him whenever I sensed that he was not on time in knocking at our door. But when he was there and went inside with me, we slept back together till mid-morning. Mawmaw came to our room everyday and would not really missed it for whatever would make him busy.
Till one day, I did not hear him call out.. No meow.. I was bothered cause I definitely knew that during that time he would come. Till I slept back. During daytime I looked for him but he was nowhere to be seen. I just though maybe he's out somewhere and forgot the worry the whole day as our house is big and normally our cats will just stay in some part of the house where we cannot see them. The night came and I still have not thought about where Mawmaw was. Until the next morning, no Mawmaw again. That time, I was seriously up to my feet. I went out our room and looked for him at every possible place where he could be in our house. The sun rose and I had not found Mawmaw. I started to cry. I cried loudly when Mama asked why. I knelt down in prayer asking the Lord to please let Mawmaw return. I asked mama if we could pray together for Mawmaw, but he just had not returned. There were so many dawn when I would woke up and hoped that I would hear Mawmaw meow outside. But there were just sounds of the cackling of the crows, the chirping of the birds and the barking sometime of the dogs outside. Mawmaw never returned. We could not find any dead body of him also . He just disappeared and never came back. From then on, I never ever shared affection towards pets. I was afraid of losing , the pain was just tormenting and hard to bear...

Watch Out For those Spoiled Onions
I bet many of us don't know about this. But we should be aware.
I am used to including fresh onion in my sandwiches especially when I prepare Tuna , Chicken or Egg Sandwiches. My yaya is also saving left parts of onion in the fridge whenever she doesn't use a whole at a time. Until I have read this article forwarded on my inbox by my colleague. This made me think twice. I think from now on I have to buy smaller onions in the future.
Fact about Onion: ( from an article I have read written by Zola Gorgon-author of several cookbooks)

Fact about Onion: ( from an article I have read written by Zola Gorgon-author of several cookbooks)
Watch out for those spoiled onions. This info is very helpful. It is never a waste of time to watch out for our health and cling only the practices which would make us live healthier each day.
I had the wonderful privilege of touring Mullins Food Products, makers
of mayonnaise. Mullins is huge, and is owned by 11 brothers and sisters
in the Mullins family. My friend, Jeanne, is the CEO.
Questions about food poisoning came up, and I wanted to share what I
learned from a chemist.
The guy who gave us our tour is named Ed. He's one of the brothers. Ed
is a chemistry expert and is involved in developing most of the sauce
formula. He's even developed sauce formula for McDonald's.
Keep in mind that Ed is a food chemistry whiz. During the tour, someone
asked if we really needed to worry about mayonnaise. People are always
worried that mayonnaise will spoil. Ed's answer will surprise you..
Ed said that all commercially-made Mayo is completely safe.
"It doesn't even have to be refrigerated. No harm in refrigerating it,
but it's not really necessary." He explained that the pH in mayonnaise
is set at a point that bacteria could not survive in that environment.
He then talked about the quint-essential picnic, with the bowl of potato
salad sitting on the table and how everyone blames the mayonnaise when
someone gets sick.
Ed says that when food poisoning is reported, the first thing the
officials look for is when the 'victim' last ate ONIONS and where those
onions came from (in the potato salad). Ed says it's not the mayonnaise
(as long as it's not homemade Mayo) that spoils in the outdoors. It's
probably the onions, and if not the onions, it's the POTATOES. He
explained, onions are a huge magnet for bacteria, especially uncooked
onions. You should never plan to keep a portion of a sliced onion. He
says it's not even safe if you put it in a zip-lock bag and put it in
your refrigerator. It's already contaminated enough just by being cut
open and out for a bit, that it can be a danger to you (and doubly watch
out for those onions you put in your hotdogs at the baseball park!) Ed
says if you take the leftover onion and cook it like crazy you'll
probably be okay, but if you slice that leftover onion and put on your
sandwich, you're asking for trouble. Both the onions and the moist
potato in a potato salad, will attract and grow bacteria faster than any
commercial mayonnaise will even begin to break down.
So, how's that for news? Take it for what you will. I (the author) am
going to be very careful about my onions from now on. For some reason, I
see a lot of credibility coming from a chemist and a company, that
produces millions of pounds of mayonnaise every year.'
Also, dogs should never eat onions. Their stomachs cannot metabolize
onions.

OH No! PR0 again???
Is this the punishment for not being active for these past few days. Hu Hu hu. My PR dropped to zero again. I envy those who still have the energy to blog and blog.
Honestly, I don't have the same spirit as you maybe. I sometimes find it tedious to write anything. I am even lazy to think about anything that would interest me to write. Huh! Some preggy laziness syndrome I got. Too bad Mr. Google got me and dropped my PR. Hope to get it right again.

The joy of Becoming a Mom
One Flaw In Women
Women have strengths that amaze men.
They bear hardships and they carry burdens,
but they hold happiness, love and joy.
They smile when they want to scream.
They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy
and laugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in.
They stand up to injustice.
They don't take "no" for an answer
when they believe there is a better solution.
They go without so their family can have.
They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.
They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel
and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happy when they hear about
a birth or a wedding.
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They grieve at the loss of a family member,
yet they are strong when they
think there is no strength left.
They know that a hug and a kiss
can heal a broken heart.
Women come in all shapes, sizes and colours.
They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you
to show how much they care about you.
The heart of a woman is what
makes the world keep turning.
They bring joy, hope and love.
They have compassion and ideas.
They give moral support to their
family and friends.
Women have vital things to say
and everything to give.
HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,
IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.
They bear hardships and they carry burdens,
but they hold happiness, love and joy.

NEED. To help you, to hurt you, to leave you, to love you and to make you
into the person you were meant to be.

Unexplained Joy of Birthing Your Own Baby
I have written in my other blog about "The Happiness of Catching your Own Baby" . It's about the miracle of the brave spirits of mommies who gave birth to their babies literally with no assistance from doctors, nurses or even midwives.
In unassisted childbirth, moms give birth at home and no one acts as midwife. Husband or friends or their children might participate on varying degrees , but certainly no one instructs the mother on how to go with the process, when to push and the best position. The advocate of such practice believes that a woman is the true expert of her own body . I somehow agree with the idea. If animals know their own timing without any help, how much more we humans. Timing of contractions and checking of dilation is not so necessary. When a woman is in touch of her own body she knows when to push. All the knowledge she knows to birth her own baby is all within her already.
Do you agree with that? I agree with that, however with the practice of medical intervention when birthing , we women tend to lack courage to do it on our own. I admit I envy the women who had the guts and experienced the joy of catching their own baby. I on my millions thoughts could not imagine myself doing unassisted childbirth. I even would not imagine myself giving birth without my maintained OB. That's how coward I am. That is the reason why my eyes were filled with tears of joy looking at the unexplained joy of having these women catch their own babies with love.

I cried over Paris' Message for Her Dad
Millions of MJ's fans around the world have been in deep sorrow when they heard the shocking of news that the King of Pop has passed away. Yesterday evening till dawn this morning Philippine time, many Filipinos witnessed the memorable moments of Michael's memorial. I was one.
Of the moments in the memorial, some are light-hearted, some are heart-breaking, but all are memorable. Perhaps the most touching moment came at the very end of the memorial when Michael's daughter, Paris, expressed her love for her late father. Paris Katherine Jackson, 11 years old, spoke about her father tearfully and briefly to close the ceremony. You can't say you weren't tearing up at this if you have witnessed too cause I cried..

Immersed in Thy Love
- Immersed in Thy love;
Fresher than morning dew;
Here I'm kept away from every earthly care.
Such tender feeling;
Caressed by my Beloved;
You're the loveliest, much fairer than the fair. - Moments with You,
How affectionate!
Now I seize this opportunity to say
That I love You.
I will be with You
All my days, come what may. - I cannot help it;
I'm so in love with You
For I've tasted Your divine heavenly wine.
I'm soaked with Thy love,
I pour my all on You.
What my future holds for me, my Lord are Thine. - I'm so attracted
By Your constraining love,
And Your Name is sweet as ointment poured forth
I'm captivated by Your dear Person, Lord.
Draw me from this age to pursue only You...
I love You Lord Jesus. Thank you for your immeasurable love...
Our Blessing!
