Couple's Corner: My Pregnancies

May is Mother's month, so we're still talking about motherhood here in couple's corner. Mommy Liz has featured pregnancies this week, so we will be talking about our exciting pregnancy (s) in the past when we have our lovely children developing in our womb.

I had four pregnancies in all. Each of my pregnancy was a new exciting experience from the first one to the last one. My eldest was only conceived within my womb for seven months and was taken from my womb via c-section due to my severe pre eclampsia case. The second and third child were delivered via normal vaginal birth. I had experienced on them the wails, the pains, and the joy of normal birth.

On my youngest, I had the most unforgettable pregnancy. I remember clearly that we went to Baguio last year on the month of April. During our visit, we went to Tam-awan Village where there is a fertility plant which according to them when you touch it you would become pregnant. Out of fun I touched it and even took picture with it. True to its myth the few weeks after, I remembered taking pregnancy test and it was positive. The fertility plant was effective after all. He he

Me touching the fertility Plant

During my entire pregnancy, I had experienced the most discomforts that worsen month after month. There was a time when I was on my third trimester that I was told by OB to have bed rest as I had premature labor. Thanks to the Lord for preparing and arranging the environment for me. I have tasted His faithfulness all throughout. He prepared a great OB-Gynecologists for me whom I have paid tribute in a blog article for his exceptional care and service to me.

It's not easy being pregnant. Your body will be adjusting to all the changes that will occur from the first to the final term. However, the joy of seeing my baby coming out and hearing their first baby cry replaces all the hardships that I have experienced while they were still in my womb.

Being a mother does not stop. It only stops when you are out of life. Once a child is born, we are full time workers, nurturing, cherishing them till they grow to start their own family. Once they have their own family, our motherhood still continues, loving them without question. This is the only profession that is paid with pure love. Mothers therefore are angels who guards our children with hope, faith, happiness and love without end.

Happy Mother's Day to all Including myself...............

Couple's Corner: My Mama

Rodliz’s Nest

I really miss this Corner!!! I have been so pre-occupied by other things that I missed a lot of topics here in Couple's corner. Now I am back and have a serious thing about blogging=) So just expect me to lodging around this corner from now on..

We are now on the Month of May. One big celebration on this month is "Mother's Day". So this week's topic is all about our "Mothers"- one of the sweetest sounds heard on earth.

My mama is a never ending song in my heart of comfort, happiness, and being. I may sometimes forget the words but I always remember the tune. Her prayers have always followed me. They have clung to me all my life. She is my best friend. When trials and heavy burdens fall upon me, when adversity takes the place of prosperity, when friends I have been closed in the past turned their backs on me, when trouble thickens around me, she still clings to me and do her best to dissipate the clouds of darkness and cause peace to return to my heart. She is the best mother to me, to my sister and still to my children. For all that I have been through, there is really no- one else like mama.

This is for You Mama:

I want to thank you
for so many things...
For being the single most special
influence in my life
and the one I look up to and admire
with all my heart;
for being as honest as your word
and never letting me down.

I want to thank you for being
my first real friend
and fairest teacher;
for being insightful, understanding,
and staying on my side.
For giving me all that
a good mother gives, and more:
your love, your time, your patience,
and your ultimate wisdom.

Thank you for being better than anyone else
at showing me how much
I mean to you.
Today, I want to offer you
all that's in my heart:
my greatest love, utmost respect,
and deepest appreciation
for everything you do.

Happy Mother's Day Ma!

It's your time to honor your mother, say something sweet about her in Couple's Corner..

Mommy Moments: Blue!

mommy moments

I missed Mommy Moments! How are you all here. I was so pre-occupied on the past days , taking my time from precious blogging. I miss seeing all your posts here at MM. Good that I am back and will do my best to join every Friday from now on.=)

Today's theme which is BLUE is so timely. This is our favorite color actually. I love seeing my kids on other colors, but I am so mesmerized when they wear Blue!

Blue is the overwhelming "favorite color." Blue is seen as trustworthy, dependable, and committed.

The color of ocean and sky, blue is perceived as a constant in our lives. As the collective color of the spirit, it invokes rest and can cause the body to produce chemicals that are calming. However, not all blues are serene and sedate.

Electric or brilliant blues become dynamic and dramatic -- an engaging color that expresses exhilaration. Some shades or the overuse of blue may come across as cold or uncaring.

Indigo, a deeper blue, symbolizes a mystical borderland of wisdom, self-mastery, and spiritual realization. While blue is the color of communication with others, indigo turns the blue inward to increase personal thought, profound insights, and instant understandings.

Blue is the least "gender specific" color, having equal appeal to both men and women.

Back!

If you noticed, Mi Mundo del Amor is back to its blogspot address. Oh dear, I forgot to renew my custom domain. Anyway, when I opened it I was totally surprised and panicked. I thought I'd lost this place. It's a total reminder. Gahh, I have been so lazy on blogging lately and was pre-occupied with some online money making activities like yovia and shopwiki that I have completely taken for granted Mi Mundo del Amor which I should not be doing in the first place.

So here I am , shaking up and loosening all the laziness. I am back and hope for the better. So how are you all? I know I have lots of catching up to do and visiting to do. Apologize for not being here for quite long. I will do my best to keep track and blog more often.

By the way, I have some few shots here of my youngest daughter and baby. She is 4 months and running 5 months old this coming May 9. Time flies, she was just a wee baby and now look how big she is being able to sit on her own.

One Happy Baby- Lishan at almost 4 months

She can sit on her own @ 4 months

Definitely loves to play..

Tuesday eManna: Eating Our Difficulties as Food

I have random posts every Tuesday, posting only what comes into mind. However, after the reflections on the happenings of our today's environment, I decided that I would post my reflections on the word of the Lord every Tuesday of the Week. To make this a double digest, I decided to make this a meme and would call it , "Tuesday eManna". To know what is Manna , know it here.
eManna for Today:

Num. 14:7 And they spoke to the whole assembly of the children of Israel, saying, The land through which we passed to spy out is an exceedingly good land.
(8) If Jehovah is pleased with us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us; a land which flows with milk and honey.
(9) Only do not rebel against Jehovah, nor should you fear the people of the land, for they are our bread. Their protection has been removed from them, and Jehovah is with us; do not fear them.

There is another noteworthy matter in connection with Caleb. He told the Israelites that they could go up immediately, they could overcome, and they did not have to be afraid of them
[their enemies]
, because “they will be our bread.” Bread is something to eat. Bread is something that brings increased strength, that makes one stronger after he eats it. The inhabitants of the land were admittedly “men of great size,” but in Caleb's eyes, they were food for God's people. He not only honored God's promises; he despised all the difficulties. Everyone who has genuine faith honors God and lightly esteems all difficulties. But this leaves no room for pride, for only those who humble themselves before God will be able to stand upon His victory.

Every time you meet a difficulty, every time you find yourself in an impossible situation, ask yourself this question: Am I going to starve here, or am I going to eat? If you are relying on the Lord for victory and allow His overcoming life to be manifested in you, you will find fresh nourishment and increased vitality, and you will be fed once again. Bear in mind that people who do not eat well cannot grow into maturity. Our bread is not only the word of God, our meat is not only to do His will, our bread is also the Anakim--the difficulties that are in our way. Many eat too little of the Anakim. The more we eat the Anakim, the stronger we will become. Caleb is a grand illustration of this. Because he accepted the Anakim as “bread,” he was still full of vitality at the age of eighty-five. His strength was the same at eighty-five as it was at forty. So many Anakim had been assimilated by him over the years that he had developed a constitution which showed no trace of age.

This is also true in the spiritual realm. ...there are those who have met and overcome difficulty after difficulty, temptation after temptation; they are full of vigor because they have fed well on Anakim. We have to eat our difficulties and our temptation. Every difficulty and every temptation Satan puts in our way is food for us. This is a God-appointed means of spiritual progress. The sight of any trouble strikes terror into the heart of those who do not have faith, but those who trust Him say, “Here comes my food!” Praise and thank the Lord, all our trials, without exception, are bread for us. Every trial brings in growth after we have eaten of it. As we accept one trial after another, we are more and more richly nourished.

Summer Outing at Triple-G Beach!

Happy Monday!!! I was tired from the long trip to and from our company outing last Saturday! We had plenty of sun and my daughter loved the waters a lot. She was literally swimming the whole day. She seemed to have all the energy and never got tired from waddling on the waters.
We went to Triple G Beach Resort in Laiya, San Juan Batangas.

It was fun at the beach with my colleagues and their families. The day became hotter with all the laughter and cheers all around.

Oh by the way, got this new template from Leelou. Suddenly had this mood for a new theme so I grabbed one free template and viola here it is. Hope you love it.

Shoot Me: 3/52 (Mi Familia)

In truth a family is what you make it. It is made strong, not by number of heads counted at the dinner table, but by the rituals you help family members create, by the memories you share, by the commitment of time, caring, and love you show to one another, and by the hopes for the future you have as individuals and as a unit. --MARGE KENNEDY, The Single Parent Family
