Couple's Corner: My Mama

I really miss this Corner!!! I have been so pre-occupied by other things that I missed a lot of topics here in Couple's corner. Now I am back and have a serious thing about blogging=) So just expect me to lodging around this corner from now on..

We are now on the Month of May. One big celebration on this month is "Mother's Day". So this week's topic is all about our "Mothers"- one of the sweetest sounds heard on earth.


My mama is a never ending song in my heart of comfort, happiness, and being. I may sometimes forget the words but I always remember the tune. Her prayers have always followed me. They have clung to me all my life. She is my best friend. When trials and heavy burdens fall upon me, when adversity takes the place of prosperity, when friends I have been closed in the past turned their backs on me, when trouble thickens around me, she still clings to me and do her best to dissipate the clouds of darkness and cause peace to return to my heart. She is the best mother to me, to my sister and still to my children. For all that I have been through, there is really no- one else like mama.

This is for You Mama:

influence in my life
and the one I look up to and admire
with all my heart;
for being as honest as your word
and never letting me down.

I want to thank you for being
my first real friend
and fairest teacher;

For A Mother Beyond Compare

This post is a tribute to my mother , the best woman in the world for me. I know our mothers are the most wonderful women in our lives. A person who does think twice all the time, one for herself and one always for her children. Who and what am I today is a product of the nurturing love of my mama, my bestfriend, my first teacher, my listener, my adviser, and my pillar of support.

Mama Mellie, today and for always I wanna say these words to you:

I appreciate the many prayers
you've whispered during
the worst moments in my life,
and the many hopes for my success
in all that I dreamed of.

I appreciate the kind wishes
that would make me so happy

Happy Mother's day Ma. You know I love you and it's not only today that I have told you that. I will never be tired of saying as you are never tired of loving me and my family. I will take care of you till you grow old. I will be there to comfort you even when time comes that you will never remember my name. You were never tired of taking care of me when I was young, in God's grace and mercy, these hands of mine too will hold you, pamper you and take care of you like you did years ago till now. I hope you know that for me and for all of us you are the most wonderful woman in the world for your love is beyond compare.
